Hehe..well this is my entry to 's transendence contest. It's the first contest I've entered on Deviantart and i'm proud of how it turned out. The character i chose for the contest was Arika, though i considered other characters. I submitted it last minute and didn't get a chance to finish it the way i wanted to. I went through so many ideas and kept changing my mind until it came down to the wire so i had to stick with this one. I wanted to give it a rustic feel with the metal - hence the brown shades. I still intend to finish the picture the way i wanted to - I worked pretty hard on the sketch and lineart, so it would be a shame to let it go to waste.
